AR-DRG Classification
Clinical diagnosis and procedure codes are assigned to acute admitted episodes. The AR-DRG Grouper classifies these episodes into DRGs that reflect resource consumption and clinical similarities.
Hospitals Australia-wide (public and private), and a number of countries throughout the world, group acute admitted episodes using the Australian Refined Diagnosis Related Group (AR-DRG) classification system.
Grouper Versions
PowerHealth has a licensing arrangement with the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) to develop and distribute the AR-DRG Grouper. Various Grouper versions with relevant ICD-10-AM mappings are available to accommodate the requirements of health services and jurisdictions across the world.
