Registrations open for PHS 2015 Networking and Training Conference Adelaide
A big THANK YOU to all our delegates for participating in and supporting the 2015 PHS Networking and Training Conference to make it such a great success.
We would especially like thank our fantastic lineup of speakers who shared their insights to inspire our community of healthcare professionals to greater efficiency and quality.
We are very grateful to SA Health in conjunction with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as St Andrew’s Hospital for being such great site hosts in showcasing their use of Datix and PPM.
Maintaining the balance between efficiency and quality in healthcare is essential in the current environment of challenging efficiency targets and budgetary constraints.
This is becoming more critical as the Australian Government is reportedly planning to increase efficiency and quality by reducing spending on low-value interventions and getting serious about combating avoidable side-effects, mistakes and infections. Their figures show that TEN per cent of all health expenditure — as much as $15 billion a year — could be saved through a concerted effort to reduce wasteful programs, marginal treatments and avoidable errors.
Themed "Efficiency and Quality in Healthcare", this conference is a valuable opportunity to join health industry professionals as they come together to share strategies and explore the issues involved in delivering efficient healthcare while continuing to maintain quality.
International Keynote Speakers
This conference features three international keynote speakers — Marc Voyvodich from the US and Brian Donovan from Ireland. In addition we have a lineup of many other interesting speakers.
Plenary sessions and concurrent streams
Plenary sessions are attended by all delegates in the mornings. Delegates can then attend any of the concurrent streams — Costing & Revenue, Billing and Patient Safety. See the preliminary agenda.
This conference features many networking opportunities for delegates.
Each stream features hands-on training in a classroom setting.
New this year, we are introducing short consults where delegates can book a 15 minute slot for a private one-on-one session with a consultant.
