Garth Barnett

Is a Senior Costing Consultant who is highly experienced in health and finance. He combines his public health executive background at SA Health with his costing expertise to advocate patient costing and benchmarking as a key accountability tool for driving hospital efficiencies. He is a popular speaker at many health industry conferences and is speaking at this conference to raise awareness of the patient costing process in health units.

Geoff Evans

Is a Costing Business Development Manager, with 30 years experience in public health finance and strategy. He has worked at the executive level on significant health and information systems reforms, most recently at the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, SA Health, and Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, where he led corporate governance restructures, and redesigned financial and performance management systems to achieve quality outcomes and a high level of stewardship.

Frank La Fratta

Is a Billing Consultant Manager and leads his team in managing implementations, business process consulting, and business analysis for the PowerBilling & Revenue Collection (PBRC) enterprise billing system. PBRC has been extremely popular following its success at Peter Mac, GenesisCare, Austin Health, NSW Health, WA Health, SA Health (Radiology & Pathology), as well as overseas at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority.
