We've had a very busy quarter, and there is a lot of news to share with you. PPM2 upgrades have progressed north from Victoria to New South Wales. Nathan has temporarily relocated to Sydney in order to be more accessible to PPM2 clients. We are hearing that users love the new Overview Map of the PPM Processes.

PBRC-AE has gone live in various NSW Local Health Districts, with PHS consultants in close attendance during the cut-over process. Our Development Team continues to roll out lots of new functionality in a rapid release turnover.

PBRC-IE has a number of go-lives coming up in the next quarter and the Team is working hard preparing for these important deadlines.

The company has seen incredible growth in staff numbers over the last couple of years, with new recruits being welcome almost every month. This is a great time for PHS.

PBRC Intergration Engine ranked #1

The 2012 Black Book Survey has ranked Infor LAWSON's CloverLeaf as the best intergration engine, selected from a field of 259. Black Book Rankings is a technology and service market research company. This year, Black Book Rankings interviewed about 12,000 users in over 4,000 health care delivery and insurance organisations to rate the best health information exchange vendors.

PHS opens new Ireland office

PowerHealth Solutions has further expanded its operations in Europe to open its second European office, this time in the Republic of Ireland. The forthcoming implementation of Activity Based Funding in the Republic requires developed information systems to support and inform the tariff.

Visit to St Andrew's Hospital

The PHS Technical Wrtting Team recently paid a visit to our friends Tracey and Sharon at St Andrew's Hospital, to learn more about how PowerPerformance Management (PPM) is used in practice to deliver patient costing information for hospitals.

St Andrew's is a 207-bed private surgical hospital in Adelaide that has received numerous National Quality and Clinical Excellence Awards.
