Community Contribution

At PowerHealth, we believe our corporate environmental responsibility goes well beyond our own borders and we endeavour to cooperate with our partners, customers and suppliers to develop our business in a sustainable manner.

We strive to foster a benevolent culture that gives back to the community through various charitable endeavours. Our staff participate in Gold Coin Fridays, donating the proceeds to a variety of charities, as well as regularly supporting the following programs:

Red Cross blood donations
Toys for Sick Kids
The Leukaemia Foundation
Movember Foundation

Many individuals choose to raise money for charities that are close to their hearts, with the business supporting collective and individual efforts by matching the funds raised.

Other community activities have included sponsorship of sports events such as the ATP Challenger Tennis Tournament - development of youth tennis in Australia and St Andrews Golf Classic - redevelopment and additions to St Andrews hospital.

PowerHealth was the very proud sponsor of the Brighton Secondary School (BSS) F1 in Schools team, Horizon, whose hard work and dedication earned them the title of World Champions at the finals competition held in Singapore.

Proudly Supporting the 2018 SA Ice Hockey League

We were very excited to sponsor SA Ice Hockey season through our local team, Adelaide Adrenaline, who represent Adelaide in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). We’re especially proud to help make the 2018 AIHL season one of the best yet for Adrenaline fans and at the same time acknowledge our close ties with Canada, by sponsoring the Canada Day game on Sunday July 1 vs. the CBR Brave. At PowerHealth, we are aware of the impact of our decisions and operations both inside the organisation, with our HR policies and people management, and outside, embracing practices that contribute to a sustainable environment.

We minimise the use of paper, recycle paper and other items wherever possible, and we choose to buy local and from sustainable suppliers whenever possible.
