The Royal Women's Hospital Ms Josephine Beer from The Royal Women's Hospital (Victoria) voiced a unanimous sentiment when she expressed her delight at the success of the event, Thanks very much for organizing the conference – it wasn’t just great it was FANTASTIC!

The conference was great. The venue was lovely, wonderful food, entertaining conference dinner and good conference facilities. It was really helpful to get away from our busy work environments to talk with other sites and hear about their successes and the things they are happy with and proud of achieving — lots of great ideas and contacts to inspire us all.

Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service Mr Alan Kerle from Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service was likewise brimming with enthusiasm, The opportunity to network and see what other sites are doing was excellent. I take away a number of ideas and hope to be better positioned in the longer term as a direct result of the conference. The general theme of the conference was excellent.

This year's conference theme Where is your business at today? focussed on using PowerPerformance Management to gauge hospital performance Chris Maddock on a daily basis — in order to more effectively assist executives manage healthcare as a business.

PowerHealth Solutions Reporting Specialist Mr Chris Maddock said, Hospital executives are now targeting performance management, which goes beyond the costing exercise. It's about integrating data and getting reports that reflect the business performance. There was immense interest in our automation of data feeds and improved reporting capabilities as customers want to spend more time analysing their business, and zero time on manual processing.

The keynote address by Ms Anne Farmer (TriNet Healthcare Vice President) was very well received, with users saying that it was particularly relevant and motivating.

The conference included many user case studies, which demonstrated effective PowerPerformance Management practices. Presenters included St Andrews Private Hospital (SA), Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service (NSW), The Children's Hospital at Westmead (NSW), and St Vincent's Health Melbourne (VIC).

An important part of the conference was the democratic voting on future enhancements, as well as the opportunity to discuss functionality with some of the PowerHealth Solutions team members.

Prospective customers were very impressed with the universally high level of user satisfaction and loyalty, one of whom said, All those I spoke to were very happy with PPM. Even in installations where the source data has had some problems, the Patrick Power users were still very positive about the software and it was apparent your team was working hard to optimize the performance of the systems in less than ideal conditions.

PowerHealth Solutions Director Patrick Power was delighted with the conference, saying, The event went extremely well, with fantastic presentations in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a very positive experience for staff and customers alike and already, everyone is looking forward to next year's conference.
