Quotes
Stephen Walker, CEO St Andrew's Hospital:
We did a comprehensive analysis of the products available, and to be honest, a lot of them were United States based. So we were delighted when we came across PowerCost Manager. It provides us with all the tools that we require and the big bonus is that it's an Australian system.
Paul Venables, PowerHealth Solutions Director:
Our goal is to provide the essential tools that enable hospitals to run healthcare as a business.
PowerCost Manager was released just over a year ago, and has already become a de facto standard in Australia. This year we commenced exports to New Zealand and more importantly, the USA.
Dr David Phillips, Dir AAU St Andrew's Hospital:
Costing previously was done at a very high level and was quite rudimentary. It wasn't at the detailed patient level that PowerCost Manager allows us to do. PowerCost Manager will actually let us understand our business, actually looks at the cost and funding of the different services that we provide within the hospital.
Patrick Power, PowerHealth Solutions Director:
It's ironic that I originally came to Australia from America to support an American product in Australian hospitals. Now we've come full circle and improved on the concept. We've added our ideas and modern technology and produced a product that we can take back to the US marketplace.
