
Movember — Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. Our Mo Bros (David Eades, Chris Maddock and Patrick) sported moustaches for the whole month of November to become a walking billboard for men’s health and raise essential funds for this good cause.

Netball — The Half PSD team (made up of half PowerHealth staff and half family & friends) won 9 games and lost 9 games so we are doing pretty well.

2007 Australian Formula Ford Championship Calendar — PowerHealth Solutions is sponsoring the Cee-Line Motorsport team with 26-year-old driver Trent Ulmer in a 2006 Duratec-engined Spectrum.

Corporate Cup — Staff went running or walking 7km every second week, after work on Wednesdays, as part of Life Be In It.

Footy Tipping — Winner David Eades, 2nd Frank, 3rd David Debono from Austin Health, 4th Lauren, Last Tammy.

Ride to Work Day — On 17th October, Amie organised staff to forgo our cars for the day and ride to work on our trusty (or rusty in some cases) bicycles. There was a breakfast held in Victoria Square.

City Bay Fun Run — The sky was clear and blue, the sun was shining. It was a lovely hot day for the City-Bay Fun Run, 12 km starting from the Festival Theatre in the city and finishing at Colley Reserve in Glenelg. Simon del Fabbro achieved an outstanding resulting (48 minutes, 3 seconds), ranking 228th out of over 23,000 entrants.

Winery Tour — In July, PowerHealth Solutions staff, family and friends ventured out on an all-day winery tour through the picturesque setting of McLaren Vale, South Australia.

PowerHealth World's Greatest Shave (Apr 2007) — PowerHealth Solutions staff rallied to the call from The Leukaemia Foundation to join the World's Greatest Shave on Friday 23rd March by shaving or colouring their hair to raise $2,639.

Child sponsorship — We sponsored a World Vision child — an 8 year old boy from Zambia, whose favourite game is football.

Australian Red Cross blood donation — once every quarter at our Adelaide head office, staff head towards the Australia Red Cross Pirie Street office to give blood.
